FAQs

Can I get a free quotation?

Yes, of course. We’ll be happy to visit your property to discuss your needs and give you a quotation for the work that needs to be done. There is no charge for this and your quotation comes with no obligation.

What happens when you give me a quotation?

In order to give you a quotation, we’ll come to your home to look at your roof, chat with you about your plans, and of course talk about your budget. We’ll give you some advice at this meeting and will follow this up with a quotation for the work.

Can you give me roofing advice?

We’re happy to give our customers advice – for example, your flat roof may be nearing the end of its life and you may be wondering whether to replace it with felt or GRP. We’re happy to explain different options to you and recommend the best solution for your roofing needs.

Is your work guaranteed?

It certainly is. Here’s a list of guarantees we provide for our services:

  • New tiled roof: 25 years
  • Concrete gutter replacement: 20 years
  • Fascia and soffit and guttering: 20 years
  • GRP roof: 20 years
  • Felt roof: 10 years
  • Repairs: 1 year

Does your roofing work comply with building regulations?

Yes. Where appropriate, you will be issued with a Building Regulations Compliance certificate after the work has been completed.

Do I need planning permission to re-roof my home?

Planning permission isn’t normally needed, unless you live in a conservation area or your home is a listed building. If you’re not sure, it’s a good idea to contact your local council.

Are you insured?

Yes. We have comprehensive public liability insurance and employers liability insurance, giving you peace of mind that everything is covered in the very unlikely event of something going wrong.

Do you offer a call-out service?

Yes, you’re welcome to call us in a roofing emergency and we will endeavour to be with you as quickly as possible.

Do you do insurance work?

Yes, if your roof has been damaged and you’re claiming for repairs on your insurance, we are happy to carry out this sort of work and to liaise with your insurance company where necessary.

What is your attitude towards health and safety?

When working at heights, it’s vital to take health and safety very seriously. We do everything to minimise the risks to our staff, the people around them and the buildings they’re working on.
